Terms and Conditions
Following information may be useful for customers regarding payment, allergens, collection, transporting and storage.
Payment
Custom Celebration Cakes:
An initial payment of £30 is required to secure your Custom Celebration Cake order within 7 days of agreeing to the quote. By making an initial payment it will be deemed the customer agrees and understands the Terms and Conditions upon which they are accepted as applying to the customer’s order. Where we have delivered what is quoted and invoiced, but the customer does not accept the finished product, the initial payment WILL NOT be refunded. Eligibility for a refund of the initial payment is only in cases of cancelation and no less than 14 days prior to agreed collection date.
The final outstanding balance must be paid prior to collection.
An invoice can be issued upon request.
Custom Treat Boxes, Cupcake Boxes, Cookies, and Bento Box Cakes:
An initial payment of 50% is required within the week of agreeing to the order. Same terms apply here as with custom cakes stated above.
Late Payments and Cancelation:
If initial payments are not received on time, orders will not be accepted. If the balance is not paid on time, we reserve the right to keep the initial payment and the product itself to cover the cost of production. If the order is cancelled by the customer last minute, initial payment is non-refundable. Eligibility for a refund of the initial payment is only in case of cancelation of the order no less than 14 days prior collection.
Unforeseen Circumstances:
In the event that Adka Bakes needs to cancel an order due to illness or unforeseen circumstances that affects the ability to deliver the ordered product, you will be given as much notice as possible and any payments made will be returned as soon as possible.
Allergens:
Customers will be asked and informed about any allergens before placing an order.
It is the customers responsibility to infirm their guests of all allergy information and accordingly the supplier (Adka Bakes) will not be liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the cake.
Please be aware that although these ingredients can be removed from the bakes, they are still used in our kitchen so we cannot guarantee that the bakes are completely free of all traces for people who are highly sensitive.
A list of allergens will be attached to your order confirmation and labelled on the packaging when collected/delivered.
Design:
Please be aware I will NOT copy custom cake designs, I will take inspiration and create my interpretation of the product personalised and unique for the customer.
Collections:
Please arrive on time agreed for collection, a late fee may be incurred if we are not informed of your delay. It is the customers responsibility to check the state of the product before leaving our premises. Once the product is collected, the customer is responsible for ensuring the product gets to its destination safely and in the manner, it was collected in and stored as per our instructions to achieve best results for taste and quality.
Transporting:
Once bakes are collected, Adka Bakes no longer bears responsibility for the bakes and asks the customer to follow Cake care instructions provided before collection.
Changes to the Order:
Any changes to the order need to be made at least a week before a custom cake is due and it may incur additional charges, which the customer will be made aware of.
Compliments and Complaints
If you are happy with the bake from Adka Bakes, I would appreciate you leaving a review on my social media pages.
In the unlikely event that you are not happy with the product, please contact Adka Bakes directly. We require pictures or videos evidencing the issue clearly. The remainder of the bake MUST be returned to Adka Bakes within 48 hours of collection, in order to assess the complaint. Adka Bakes reserves the right to NOT issue refunds if there is no clear evidence of the issue.

Adka Bakes reserves the right to photographed bakes and use them for advertising and promotional purposes.
